Benison Partnership Announcement

The companies have executed agreements covering software development, integration and end-to-end quality assurance. The collaboration adds specialized engineering capacity across the VPP data plane, edge software, controller backend and user interface, supporting USDN’s ability to execute defined enterprise requirements.

For USDN’s investors and stakeholders, the engagement represents an investment in execution capacity and product maturity. The initial work is intended to create capabilities and testing practices that USDN can build upon as it pursues additional customers, helping turn customer-specific requirements into a stronger foundation for future commercial opportunities.

This supported a USDN vision that reaches across the enterprise data transport market. Working with Benison strengthens our ability to execute that vision. We are investing in the engineering depth, product reliability and validation needed to earn additional enterprise relationships and build long-term business value. Our ambition is to bring AD-WAN to a much broader customer base, supported by measurable technical progress.

Paul PeruCo-CEO of USDN

USDN has a clear ambition for advancing secure enterprise data transport, and we are pleased to bring Benison’s networking and product engineering expertise to this collaboration. Our focus is to help strengthen USDN and its core product, AD-WAN through disciplined development, integration and end-to-end testing. We see an opportunity to help USDN build a technical foundation that can evolve with the needs of a broader enterprise customer base.

Engineering experience relevant to USDN growth

Benison brings a published track record in networking and security, with VPP/DPDK capabilities and case studies covering cloud VPN gateways, security integration and product validation. USDN sees this experience as a resource for strengthening AD-WAN’s execution, supporting enterprise technical evaluations and preparing for opportunities across a broader data transport market.

Building a foundation for broader enterprise adoption

The initial project will improve integration with a cloud secure web gateway, management of trusted cloud application address lists, and delivery of routing updates from the controller to network edges. It also addresses WAN circuit disruption and cloud security gateway unreachability as separate failure conditions, with configurable traffic paths and fallback policies.

Development will run alongside testing of traffic steering, network segmentation, failover and restart recovery in an agreed reference environment. Deliverables include source code, design documentation, measured test results and knowledge transfer. USDN retains architecture review and code merge approval, with completion subject to the agreed test criteria and acceptance process.

USDN intends to build on this work as it pursues opportunities beyond its initial financial-services deployment. Prospective markets include additional financial institutions, healthcare, the public sector, telecommunications and enterprises operating distributed networks. Requirements and deployment readiness will be evaluated for each customer.

For investors, the broader opportunity is a more repeatable approach to enterprise integration and validation, supporting USDN’s capacity to serve additional customers over time. Expansion will depend on demonstrated performance, customer requirements and separately agreed work.
